Archbishop of York

Roger de Pont L'Eveque, Archbishop of York

The Archbishop of York is an elderly man in his mid 60s, yet still vigorous in his leadership of the Church. He is an impressive and insightful orator, whether delivering sermon or negotiating a treaty, and exudes authority in both Church and secular life.

Archbishop Roger is one of the most powerful men in England. He leads the Church in the North from his powerbase at York Minster and is the chief representative of King Henry in many dealings with Scotland and its rulers.
